Did you ever see the dinosaur I have for my pet?

|
Did you ever see the dinosaur I have for my pet?

By Karen Mesberg, teacher at the Children’s Garden Center

Try this new dinosaur song to the tune of Did You Ever See a Lassie! Here are the words:

Did you ever see my dinosaur, my dinosaur, my dinosaur
Did you ever see the dinosaur I have for my pet?

He hides in my bedroom
He wears my pajamas
If you’ve never seen my dinosaur,
You’d like to I bet!

Here is an instrumental version of “Did you ever see a lassie” so you can sing along.

Or if you have a play an instrument, here is the music:

Did You Ever See a Lassie

I’ve also attached a few dinsosur-related activities. Two are Dino Images for drawing & writing practice and one is a gluing activity that requires toothpicks.  If you attach the toothpicks to the lines, you end up with something looking a whole lot like a fossil dinosaur!  You may have to help them break a few toothpicks for the “bones” in the head.
