Summer Shakespeare in The Ark
This summer, forget Shakespeare in the Park and join Shakespeare in The Ark! Theater director and educator Peter Royston and his Anywhere Theatre Company are joining forces with the J to create accessible Shakespeare workshops for young people in our beautiful new theater.
Students will get a magical introduction to “the Bard’s” most exciting and magical plays working with a team of professional Shakespearean performers. They’ll explore Shakespeare’s stories and characters in full costume, create their own set and costume designs, practice stage combat with a licensed choreographer, and enter worlds of queens, kings, magical spirits, monsters, mayhem, and fun!
It’s All a Dream! A “Midsummer Night Dream,” that is!)
