Adult Movement & Wellness Classes

Yoga 101 – 3 Week Series Starting Friday, May 5th at 10am

Always wanted to join a yoga class but felt unsure if it was for you? Need a yoga refresher to renew your practice?

This 3-week Yoga 101 Series is created for students both new to yoga and those looking to get back to basics with their practice.

We will take an in-depth look at foundational yoga poses and explore basic breathing practices and meditation. You will leave this workshop with the confidence to start or rejoin a regular yoga class.

Members: $45/Non-Members $60




Moving with Ease: An 8-week ‘Awareness Through Movement’ Feldenkrais series

8 Sundays, Mar 19 – May 7 9:30–10:30 am (No class on Wednesday, April 5 & Friday, April 7)

Members: $80; non-members: $100

In this series led by Doron Tadmor, participants will be carefully guided through a series of movements that engage a step-by-step meditative process of self-discovery. Each class is an invitation to slow down and enjoy free and comfortable movements.

We will explore simple functional transitions and the movements are done with gentle attention and at a comfortable range. As you learn to include more of yourself, unnecessary muscular tensions throughout the body will reorganize and release. Whether you are suffering from chronic pain or are in the best shape of your life, this class is for you! Participants must be able to comfortably and safely get down to the floor. Space is limited to 15.



R&B/Soul Line Dancing with the Fun Bunch

8 Wednesdays, Mar 8–May 3; 6:30–7:30 pm

8 Fridays, beginning March 24; 12:00–1:00 pm

Members: $40; non-members: $80

New to line dancing? This class is for you! Join us and Fun Bunch instructor, Steven Dillard. Using an upbeat and fun soundtrack as a backdrop, Steven will break down easy line dances that allow everyone to learn at a comfortable pace. You’ll learn basic steps, rhythms and routines choreographed to music. Not only is line dancing fun, it helps improve your memory, coordination, and balance at the same time. Come for great music and a great time!
