Generation Forward (grades 9–12) & Generation Forward Jr. (grades 6–8)
Select Sundays monthly, September–June
Grades 9–12: 9:30 am–12:30 pm
Grades 6–8: 12:00–3:00 pm (special hours September 22: 12:00–3:30 pm)
$250 members/$300 non-members
Is your teen looking for meaningful ways to get involved with and give back to the community? Students will embrace shared responsibility for our community well-being through volunteerism with local non-profits. Participants can earn up to 25 certified hours of community service, and will feel informed, inspired, and empowered to continue to make the world a better place. Lunch is included.
Monthy topics of focus:
- September 22 (Special hours: 12 Noon – 3:30 for both) – Food Insecurity
- October 20 – Civic Apathy
- November 3 – Housing Insecurity
- December 15 – Adverse Childhood Experiences
- January 12 – Inequality in Civil Rights
- February 9 – Financial Insecurity: Access to Personal Care Items
- March 16 – Financial Insecurity: Access to Infant Care Items
- April 6 – Support for People with Illness
- May 18 – Environmental Responsibility
- June 1 – Financial Insecurity: Access to Clothing
