The Shames JCC on the Hudson is a non-sectarian community center, providing meaningful experiences for individuals and families throughout their lives. We are a welcoming, inclusive gathering place that enriches the greater community through social, recreational, educational, social action, supportive service, wellness, and cultural programs and resources guided by Jewish values.
Individuals, couples, and families of all cultures, religions, lifestyles, and abilities are welcome at the JCC. Our members come from Yonkers, Hastings, Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Briarcliff, Ossining, Elmsford, White Plains, and beyond. We believe that everyone belongs here.
At the JCC, people of all ages socialize and build community, take classes, engage in social action and community service, exercise, swim, play sports, celebrate, attend lectures and much more. From early childhood education to seniors clubs, community art shows to pickleball, there is something for everyone.
