Class has been Closed

Sundays, April 16–May 28; 3:00–6:00 pm

Assessment is given on Saturday, April 15 at 3:00 pm for all students attending the class.

Prepare for the June 3 SAT exam with WhizKidz Tutoring at the JCC. The SAT course will focus on math, reading, vocabulary, and writing and offers practice in taking the SAT test, strategies for the various question types, and small-group instruction. WhizKidz’s curriculum was created using a variety of programs including Panda Math, Pearson, and Barron. Assessments will be given during the beginning and middle of the course to ensure students are hitting benchmarks for desired scores.

Students can take reading only, math only, or both (for a discounted price per class).

Reading
Sundays, April 16–May 28; 4:30-6:00 pm. Practice test is on Saturday, April 15.

The Reading Section for the SAT requires students to answer evidence-based questions about a challenging reading selection in a timed setting. The course will prepare and practice for these reading passages and questions. Weekly assignments will be provided for students to complete at home during the week. At-home assignments can be completed on paper or on a computer.
