Do you love dogs and meeting new friends? Ever wanted to learn more about teaching or working with dogs? Then this is the group for you!
Working together in a social group setting, we will teach our Giving Retriever Program Dogs the basic skills they need to be successful as Therapy and Assistance Dogs. Our sessions encourage participant interpersonal interaction, problem solving, perspective taking, and confidence building. There is no prior experience required to participate!
Please note, this is a class for individuals who can be successful in an 8:1 environment. Prior to registration, a zoom call with the Director of Supportive Services and the founder of The Giving Retriever, and a completion of our background form is required.
