LIFT Internship Program

Participants are ages 18 and up

The LIFT (Leadership, Internship, Friendship, Transition) Internship program is a full-day program for young adults with supportive needs, promoting the development of vocational skills and the acquisition of valuable work experience. In a structured and nurturing environment, participants will learn social skills and behavioral strategies to support their success in the workplace. In combination with learning these strategies, interns will practice and apply the concepts they are learning through a hands-on internship at the JCC. Throughout the program, we will also focus on the continued development of daily living skills and we incorporate social and recreational opportunities into the program.
