Jill Schantz

Jill, a lifelong educator, aims to build quality afterschool programs where children collaborate, communicate, create, and think critically. Jill’s experience includes being a general and special education teacher, a middle school guidance counselor, a grief and loss program director, a summer camp art and drama specialist, an educational learning coach, an early childhood center director, and the former owner of the STEAM program Challenge Island. When she is not busy with other people’s children, you can find her walking, hiking, doing something creative, eating healthy foods, writing, and reading. Jill lives with her husband Alan and two sons. She is looking forward to “Almost Home” becoming her “Home Away from Home”!
