Inclusive Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Cooking Classes

Culinary Confidence

Thursdays,12:30–2:00 pm; January 11–March 14
Ages 18+
Members: $500/non-members: $580

This cooking class series for adults with varying needs will be led by Amy Pane, who has worked in the food industry since 2001. Participants will prepare recipes Amy has developed and eat their creation together in a lunch setting. Participants will walk away with new cooking skills, a recipe book consisting of things made in class, a new love for cooking and food, and a new community.


CO/LAB Musical Theater Class (15 & up)

10 Sundays, 2:30–3:45 pm; March 17–June 16

CO/LAB Theater Group’s teaching artists provide high-quality theater programs for individuals with and without disabilities. CO/LAB fosters a space where individuals have creative theater opportunities without limits and boundaries. This session, we will be focusing on ensemble theater. Ensemble theater focuses on collaboration and teamwork amongst participants.

This program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

Art for Everyone (Grades K-5)

11 Wednesdays, 4:30–5:15 pm, January 3–March 20

This inclusive class is designed for elementary-aged students with varying abilities. It focuses on the process of art-making as a sensorial, creative, and productive experience. We will use a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional materials to complete projects that all children can feel proud of. This class is led by an art therapist who has experience working with children with a wide range of emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities.
