The Afya Foundation–based in Yonkers and a trusted partner of the Shames JCC– is collecting, sorting and shipping essential medical supplies to front-line providers in Ukraine. The Shames JCC will be collecting these materials in our front lobby through Wednesday, March 16:
- Flashlights and batteries
- Diapers (baby and adult)
- First aid kits
- Hand sanitizer
- Personal hygiene items: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, shampoo, razor, shaving cream
- Over the counter medicine: aspirin, Acetaminophen, cough medicine, oxymeters, ace bandages, compression bandages
