Grades K and up

While school is out, kids can learn about and celebrate this holiday of freedom at the J. Children will rotate between activity stations where they will make percussion instruments, use them to play traditional African music, engage in a lesson on Juneteenth’s history, and participate in an interactive trivia game with prizes. All are welcome to bring a packed lunch and blanket and join us after for a community picnic!
