Join us for an illuminating afternoon as we learn about renowned artist Marc Chagall, who was commissioned by the Rockefeller family in the 1960s to create a series of stained-glass windows for Union Church of Pocantico Hills. Our visit will begin at the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center for a private curator-led tour of Sketching Light, an exhibit that features 27 studies by Chagall and which provides a rare opportunity to explore his creative process. Afterwards, we’ll visit Union Church for a tour of these remarkable windows in person. Participants are responsible for their own transportation; carpooling is also available from the JCC.
