Visual and Creative Arts

 

Cool Crafting with Kit Demirdelen
Young artists will explore a modern twist on traditional crafts. Projects will include sewing, weaving, fiber, clay, and printing.

NEW! Fashion Lab with Future Fashion Stars
Children will design their own fashion line, from vision boards to finished pieces, while exploring industry concepts like color palettes, hand sewing, embroidery, and upcycling.

NEW! Found Object Sculpture with Kit Demirdelen 
Children will collect and repurpose found materials like buttons, bottle caps, and cardboard to build unique 3D creations, reusing and recycling materials in imaginative ways.

Paint, Print, and Sculpt with Zerlina Panush 
Students will explore a variety of mediums and methods in this mixed media art class, including drawing, painting, making prints, and building sculptures.

NEW! Set Design for JCC on Stage with Allie Sherich and Chris Williams
Students will explore the basics of set design, from sketching ideas to creating props and backdrops for a live performance.

NEW! Sewing on the Machine for Beginners with Lana Lanza
Students will learn the basics of machine sewing while creating projects such as tote bags, pillows, bunting, and simple clothing. They will learn pattern reading, fabric cutting, embellishment techniques, and essential machine safety.

Basketball Clinic with Robert Jacobson Sports (RJS)
This class helps young athletes excel and nurtures their love of basketball. Through skills-based drills and games, our class teaches technique, builds confidence, and enhances knowledge of the game.

NEW! Flag Football with Train Like A Pro
This fun, fast-paced class teaches the fundamentals of flag football—passing, catching, running plays, and teamwork—in a non-contact format. Players will build athletic skills, confidence, and game sense through drills, scrimmages, and plenty of active play.

Gymnastics with Coach Mike Weyneth
Students build strength, coordination, flexibility, and gross motor skills through tumbling, floor routines, balance beam, uneven bars, tumble tramp, and vault. Classes are offered at multiple levels to match each child’s experience and ability.

Multi-sport with Train Like A Pro
Aspiring athletes will explore the fundamentals of various sports, including lacrosse, baseball, football, hockey, soccer, kickball, and basketball, fostering a well-rounded sports experience.

Ninja-nastics with Coach Mike Weyneth
Experience the skills of gymnastics with the fun flying tricks of ninja. Athletes will climb, swing, run, and flip through ninja obstacles and learn the basics of gymnastics tumbling skills on the floor.

Karate with American Goju Karate
Students move through the belt system and gain skills of focus, control, balance, coordination, discipline and more, while improving fitness and building confidence.

Soccer Clinic with Train Like A Pro
Children will gain confidence on the field and improve their technical skills such as first touch, passing, dribbling, and shooting. They will work on speed, agility, strength, and endurance through drills and scrimmage.

Tennis with Evolution Tennis Academy
Children of all levels will develop a lifelong love of tennis in a positive, supportive, and fun environment that promotes skill development, fitness, and fun.

Athletes will focus purely on tumbling elements on our spring airtrak floor, tumble track, and carpet bonded rolls.

Performing Arts

Young dancers explore movement through music, stories, and imaginative play. This fun and gentle class builds coordination, confidence, and creativity.

NEW! Sing & Dance with Cumbia for Kids
Students will dive into the joyful rhythms and moves of Cumbia—a music and dance style from Colombia with African, indigenous, and European roots. They’ll learn songs in Spanish and English and bring them to life through upbeat choreography and percussion.

JCC On Stage with Allie Sherich and Chris Williams
Aspiring thespians will experience the magic of theater on our stage at The Ark! Children will build confidence, connection, and creativity, and have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a live performance.

STEAM

 

Challenge Island 
In this project-based STEAM class, students tackle exciting engineering challenges. With over 200 innovative experiences, they’ll build, explore, question, and create while transforming critical thinking into action.

NEW! Chess with National Scholastic Chess Foundation
This multi-level class allows students to learn at their own pace through structured lessons and supervised play, exploring key components of the game, tactics, and strategies to become thoughtful players.

Minecraft Club: Outer Space with iCAMP
Children will explore the universe by building space stations, planetary colonies, and futuristic spacecraft. They’ll collaborate to create interstellar worlds using creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

NEW! Robotots with iCAMP
Children will embark on a STEM adventure with BeeBot, the friendly, programmable robot. They’ll explore basic coding concepts like sequencing, direction, and problem solving, all while using their creativity to guide BeeBot on exciting journeys.
