This two-part program includes a 45-minute fitness session that builds gross motor coordination, balance, and endurance. Following that, a hands-on cooking class develops ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as food prep, kitchen safety, following recipes, and working as a team. The structure of the class supports executive functioning, health literacy, and social connectedness.
This program is made possible with the support of The J.E. and Z.B. Butler Foundation.
