Overview: The Activity Coordinator designs and leads engaging group experiences for campers, aged 2-6 years old in our new “Campfire Corner”, an outdoor classroom designed to engage campers in exciting outdoor learning opportunities. This role brings creativity, energy, and intentionality to programming that inspires imagination, exploration, and connection among campers. We’re looking for a dynamic, creative educator to lead a fun and diverse curriculum! In this role, you’ll have the chance to bring storytelling, nature activities, arts and crafts, and music to life for our campers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, imaginative leader, ready to inspire and engage kids through a variety of exciting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activities for campers aged 2–6 within an area of expertise.
- Lead group activities with enthusiasm, creativity, and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Ensure all activities are inclusive, age-appropriate, and aligned with the camp’s values and themes.
- Collaborate with Division Heads and the Camp Director to plan weekly activities and special programs.
- Prepare and organize materials, equipment, and supplies for activities.
- Model and encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among campers.
- Adapt activities as necessary to support diverse ages, learning styles, and abilities.
- Participate in staff planning meetings and share innovative programming ideas.
- Maintain safety and risk-management standards during all activity sessions.
- Participate in all required training and development opportunities preceding and during camp, including orientation, staff meetings and Parent Nights.

Collaborates with: Division Heads, Camp Director of Operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience leading group activities for young children in camp, school, or recreational settings.
- Creativity and passion for experience-based and hands-on learning.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to organize materials and manage activity logistics.
- Background in music, arts, creative education, early childhood, or related field preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Hours: Daily, Monday through Friday 8:00 am–3:30 pm during the camp season.
Camp Dates: June 29- August 21, 2026 (no camp on July 3)
Orientation Dates:
- June 15, 7-8pm: Zoom Orientation
- June 19, 9am-4pm: Orientation
- June 20, 9am-4pm: Orientation
- June 27, 9am-4pm: Orientation and Room Set-Up
- June 28, 9am-12pm: Camper/Parent Orientation
Salary: $5,500-6,000 for the season, Based on experience
