The Torah in the Tarot

April 14, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Would you believe that there is a connection between Tarot cards and Judaism? Join us to hear Tarot researcher Stav Appel discuss his provocative thesis that the Tarot de Marseille–the artistic ancestor of contemporary Tarot cards– originally served as a tool for secret Jewish education during the exile of Jews from France.

Together we will explore the ways in which the original Tarot may have been a secret Torah, designed to avoid detection by unwanted eyes during one of the darkest moments of Jewish history.

*Please note that this class is not a Tarot reading class*
