Allowing Nature to Hold Us: Grief and Healing through Nature-Based Practice

The Shames JCC on the Hudson is proud to offer our first in-person Healing Workshop in partnership with COPE.

When grieving, people often follow an innate desire to be outdoors. These instincts to be with nature are important to follow, as time outside can be healing during grief. In this workshop, learn what to do to optimize the healing benefits of nature through mindfulness techniques, easy-to-replicate ways to engage your senses, and spiritual connection practices thatoffer gentle pathways to peace and healing.

*Please bring something that you will be comfortable sitting on outdoors. This can be a beach chair, blanket, yoga mat, etc.
