Private Tour and Lecture at Untermyer Gardens

Get your walking shoes on and join us for a private lecture and tour of the incomparably enchanting Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers, NY.

Stephen Byrns, President of the Untermyer Conservancy, will treat guests to a lecture about Samuel Untermyer, one of the most prominent Jewish Americans in the early 19th century, and the fascinating history behind the establishment and reinvigoration of this 40 acre garden.

Afterwards, you’ll have the option of going on a 1-hour docent-led tour of this beautiful and unique space, or exploring the gardens on your own. Please note, the walking tour includes some stairs and uneven terrain.

Transportation: We will be meeting at the Gardens at 945 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701. If you need a ride from the JCC, or have room in your car for others, please email [email protected]
