Learn to Skateboard Clinic with the OnBoard Initiative & Adaptive Sports Foundation (ages 5+)

$50 for Members | $60 for non-members 

Join professional skateboarders from the OnBoard Initiative for a one-day Learn to Skateboard Clinic, hosted in partnership with the Adaptive Sports Foundation at the Shames JCC! Designed for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, this clinic welcomes participants of all experience levels ages 5 and up. Participants may choose the 1.5-hour session that best fits their schedule. Beginners will learn the fundamentals, while experienced skaters will receive one-on-one instruction to develop new skills and work toward a personal goal. Skateboards, helmets, and all protective gear will be provided.

If you have a complex physical disability and are wondering whether skateboarding is an option for you, please contact Tony at the Adaptive Sports Foundation at tony@adaptivesportsfoundation.org.

Participant Form: LINK – This is our general form for demographic, disability, and contact info. It helps the instructors prepare if they know what students are non-verbal, have sensory needs, triggers, etc.
