Across Westchester County, several local families host “Shinshinim” who are Israeli high school graduates serving as emissaries to Jewish communities and engaging in meaningful service work prior to their mandatory engagement in the Israeli army.  Teens ages 14 and up are invited to come to hear from these Shinshinim about their personal ties to current events in a moderated discussion and question-and-answer session. Registration is strictly required.
