92NY Live—A Conversation with Annie Leibovitz: Women

Friday, February 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Portrait of an older individual with glasses and long, wavy gray hair, wearing a dark top. They have a calm expression, set against a soft-focus dark background.

FREE for members & non-members

Deemed a “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress, Annie Leibovitz is one of the most influential photographers of our time. For over five decades, her distinctive portraits have appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and Vogue. In celebration of her new book “Women,” Leibovitz will reflect on her portraits of women: dancers, actors, astronauts, artists, politicians, farmers, writers, CEOs, philanthropists, soldiers, musicians, athletes, socialites, scientists and more. Featuring subjects such as Joan Didion, Lady Gaga, Michelle Obama, Rihanna, Patti Smith, Elizabeth Taylor, and Serena and Venus Williams, the new book celebrates the power of women

NOTE: This event will be livestreamed with a facilitated in-person discussion afterward.
