Gourd Art is the fascinating process of carving, burning, painting and weaving on nature’s pottery: hard shelled gourds. Local gourd artist Beth Kane takes students through the process of turning a simple, hard shelled gourd into a stunning vase. Participants will use wood-burning techniques and alcohol inks to create a unique and useful piece of art for their homes.
