Patriot Swim Team
The JCC is a partner of the Patriot Swim Team, founded in 1996. This collaboration offers training and practice groups for swimmers 18 & under at all skill levels. As a member of USA Swimming, Patriot Swim Team members have opportunities for competitions at various levels.
Head Coach Victor Penaloza leads the team, bringing over 23 years of coaching experience and currently heads the swimming and diving team at Pace University. Victor has successfully guided his swimmers to the highest levels of competition, including the Olympic trials! For questions and to inquire about tryouts, please email vpenaloza@shamesjcc.org.

September 8, 2025–June 30, 2026
Dolphins: Ages 9 & under
Monday–Friday; 4:00–4:45 pm
Members: $204.30/month ($454 first payment; paid in full price is discounted at $2,372)
Non-members: $225/month ($500 first payment; paid in full price is discounted at $2,613)
Junior: Ages 10–12
Monday–Friday; 4:00–5:30 pm
Members: $249.30/month ($554 first payment; paid in full price is discounted at $2,895)
Non-members: $270/month ($600 first payment; paid in full price is discounted at $3,135)
Senior: Ages 13–17
Monday–Friday; 4:45–6:45 pm
Members: $288/month ($640 first payment; paid in full price is discounted at $3,344)

Pre-Team: Ages 6–12
Mondays & Wednesdays; 5:30–6:15 pm

Masters Swim Team: Ages 18+
September 15, 2025–June 30, 2026; Monday/Wednesday/Friday 5:15–6:45 am (at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry); Tuesdays 6:45–7:45 pm (at the JCC)
Members: $125/month; $95 for any two days
Non-members: $225/month; $95 for any two days
Swim Team participants (K–5) can add Club J, which provides bussing to the JCC from the Irvington and Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown school districts, and childcare until 6 pm. Secure your spot in Club J for Swim Team below!
