Overview: The Assistant Counselor supports the Lead Counselor in caring for a small group of campers, helping ensure that every child is safe, happy, and fully engaged in their camp day. This role is ideal for emerging leaders who want to work closely with children and gain experience in early childhood or recreation settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationships & Supervision:
Reports to: Division Head & Camp Director
Collaborates with: Lead Counselor, Specialists, Activity Coordinator, Aquatics Staff, and fellow counselors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Hours: Daily Monday through Friday 8:15 am–3:30pm during the camp season
Camp Dates: June 29–August 21, 2026 (no camp on July 3)
Orientation Dates:
Salary: $2,800-3,900 for the season, based on experience
