What’s the Right Thing to Do? An Ethics Exploration with Edward Ginsberg

Modeled after Harvard political theorist Michael Sandel’s book and course, this interactive class will examine the modern definition of happiness and the impact of this definition upon our actions. Using a historical case study, we will examine contemporary events through a Jewish ethics lens.
About the Presenter: Edward Ginsberg has been teaching history for over a half century, most recently at Marist College and SUNY Dutchess. He also served as director of human rights education for the New York State Education Department in the late 1970s. Edward currently participates in the Westchester County Climate Crisis Task Force. He has also studied and traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Greenland.
