Aquatics Center Closure & Holiday Hours Due to an HVAC issue combined with the extreme heat, the Aquatics Center will close today (Thursday) at 2:45 pm. We hope to reopen on Sunday morning. Please check this page or call the Welcome Desk for the latest updates. Holiday Hours: The JCC will close at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 3 and will remain closed on Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. A Celebration in Honor of World Refugee Day

Join the Shames JCC on the Hudson and our partners, for an immersive, engaging event to learn about the refugee experience through stories and culture. On this year’s World Refugee Day, as forced displacement hits a record-breaking high, together we will celebrate resilience and support resettled families in our community.

When: Sunday, June 12; 3:00-5:00pm
Where: Shames JCC on the Hudson, 371 S Broadway, Tarrytown
Who: All ages
What: Storytelling, education and advocacy booths, live music and beautiful crafts and delicious international food for sale

This event will take place outside. Attendees ages 12+ needing access to the JCC facility will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to the JCC Gymnasium.
