Rev Garth Evans, St. Barnabas, and Rabbi Jay Stein, Greenburgh Hebrew Center

These discussions by two clergy leaders will explore lifecycle events and rituals through the lens of two different faiths. Across diverse religions and cultures, there are ceremonies and traditions acknowledging a child’s maturation and entrance into adulthood.  We will examine how Jews and Christians mark these transitions and how the communal responsibilities of young adults in each faith develop and evolve.
