Yanira Quiñones

Director of Jewish Life

Philosophy

Yanira Quiñones is an experienced Jewish educator. She graduated from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, receiving a Master’s degree in Jewish Education with a concentration in Congregational Leadership. Yanira also holds an Advanced Certificate in Israel Education from George Washington University and was an iCenter fellow. Her bachelor’s degree in Human Development is from Fordham University.

Yanira worked in a variety of educational facilities during her career. She has taught Jewish education in congregational religious schools, been a director of a religious school, a children’s services leader for both Shabbat and High Holidays, and has worked in Jewish camps during the summers. Additionally, she teaches an adult Introduction to Judaism course for the Union for Reform Judaism.

Yanira lives in White Plains, New York with her three children, and their dog Gracie.
