Led by Rabbi Ben Newman, Havdalah on the Hudson brings our community together for a gathering that is part jam session, part salon, part picnic, and part Havdalah ceremony. In an informal setting we will play music, connect in honest conversation, engage in Jewish learning, perform the ritual of Havdalah, eat and schmooze. This event is kid-friendly, so bring the whole family!
If you would like to be part of our musicians group, would like to share a teaching, poem, story or song, or more would like information on this program email Rabbi Ben: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday, June 16, 1:00 – 4:00 PM

There will be inflatables for the kids, a puppet show, music by Mekorock teen band, karate and fencing demos, circus arts, crafts, face painting, lawn games and tug-a-war, as well as demos of our new STEM programs coming this fall. Our social action Afya pop-up will also be open for volunteers. Rain or Shine. In celebration of our 90 years of service, this free event is open to the community.
