Ongoing Series

Challenging Times, Ageless Insights: Navigating Today’s World with the Rivertowns Jewish Consortium*
Select Fridays, 10:00–11:30 am
“Challenging Times, Ageless Insights” allows participants to engage with clergy in exploring contemporary issues through a Jewish lens. These discussions will provide insights, debate, and if we are successful, even more questions.

*The Rivertowns Jewish Consortium is a group that includes Greenburgh Hebrew Center, Mishkan Ha’am, Rosh Pinah Chavurah of the Rivertowns, Temple Beth Abraham, Temple Beth Shalom, and Woodlands Community Temple.

Interfaith Discussions

From Baptism to B’ Mitzvah: exploring Rituals in Judaism and Christianity with Rev Garth Evans, St. Barnabas, and Rabbi Jay Stein, Greenburgh Hebrew Center

These discussions by two clergy leaders will explore lifecycle events and rituals through the lens of two different faiths.

Project Genesis

Project Genesis: In Project Genesis, two clergy friends from different faiths discuss interpretations of select stories found in the books of the Old Testament. These sessions allow us to unpack and analyze the multiple meanings of these stories and how their lessons can apply to modern life.

Stay tuned!
