

This martial arts program is designed to teach men, women, and children of all ages the art of self-defense. The emphasis is on developing the individual’s self-awareness and positive self-esteem.

Led by American GoJu Karate’s Director and Chief Instructor, Sensei Bob Chillemi, this goal-oriented skills program helps children improve focus, control, balance, coordination, fitness, teamwork, discipline, and memory in a fun environment. Pre-schoolers develop confidence and self-discipline through the principles of the Tiny Tigers.

Each student is expected, regardless of age, to help instruct others, thereby putting the emphasis on helping instead of hurting others. Positive reinforcement is imperative.
Students progress through the belt system, improving fitness, focus, control, balance, coordination, teamwork, discipline, and memory in a fun environment that celebrates short-term and long-term goal achievement.

Sensei Bob, a sixth-degree black belt, has been practicing martial arts since 1977. He is a seasoned professional who teaches recreational programs, pre-school classes, children, and adults. In addition, he has taught karate to children with special needs. He is also available for private lessons.
