The Jewish calendar moves in seven-year cycles, and we are currently in the sabbatical year, a time of restoration and renewal. Join Dr. Tova Markenson for a 4-week exploration of contemplative Jewish practices that support the process of releasing, renewing, and restoring vitality into everyday life as we transition into spring. This class is open to people of all backgrounds regardless of prior experience with mindfulness meditation and/or Judaism.
Dr. Markenson loves exploring the mystery of the present moment with individuals and groups. An award-winning scholar, her research and teaching build on 10+ years of leadership in the fields of collaboration, communication, and creativity. Dr. Markenson has designed and taught courses on mindfulness, storytelling, and communication to non-profit professionals, rabbinical and cantorial students, young adults, and life-long learners.
