Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance, featuring a documentary film screening, Q & A, and hands-on project to support The Butterfly Project

Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance

In partnership with Engage Westchester and Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center, the Shames JCC and JCC Mid-Westchester will present a screening of the documentary film, NOT The Last Butterfly, followed by a Q & A with special guest, Cheryl Rattner Price, Filmmaker, Executive Director and Co-founder of the Holocaust education non-profit organization, The Butterfly Project.

Immediately following the Q & A will be a hands-on project that includes painting ceramic butterflies. Each butterfly represents a child who perished in the Holocaust. For detailed information about The Butterfly Project, click here. Attendees are invited to participate in the painting project following the film.
